Want something meaty, sweet and spicy? These are the Cauli wings for you!

A combination of all your favourite flavour cravings in one lite bite!

Ingredients:

1 small cauliflower (any colour  you can find but mine is purple)
250g plain flour
3tsp garlic puree (easy garlic can be found in most supermarkets and works the best)
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chilli powder
1 pinch of salt and pepper
1tsp paprika
1-2 tsp tumeric
120ml water
120ml soya milk
1tbsp vegan butter (flora vegan butter works the best)

Sauce:

3 Tbsp melted vegan butter
100ml sweet chilli sauce
1/2 tsp marmite
1/3 tsp tahini
1tsp soy sauce
1tsp easy chilli (optional to add more spice, found in most supermarkets)
1tsp easy garlic/garlic paste
spices of your choice (i like chilli powder and cajun spice)

or:

YO Sushi Katsu curry sauce (found in Tesco)
20ml sweet chilli
3 Tbsp melted vegan butter
spices of your choice (i like chilli powder and garlic granules).

Method:

Preheat oven to 200 °C

Prepare your cauliflower by cutting it up into florets and washing them in a colander.

In a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour and spices (dry ingredients).
after mixing, add the water and soya milk .
mix well to form a thick batter that will be thick enough to stick to the cauliflower.

Add the cauliflower to a bowl and coat them with the batter.

Transfer onto a baking sheet and grease with vegan butter.

Put them in the oven for 25 minutes or until starting to go golden.

Whilst the cauliflower is baking, in a pan, melt vegan butter and add the sweet chilli sauce mixture or the Katsu curry sauce packet and the rest of the ingredients and mix well until blended together.

Then after 25 mins, remove the cauliflower from the oven.
coat them well with the sticky sauce you just made and return to the oven for a final 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and finely chop some spring onion ends to scatter on top.

ENJOY!!!!

(I like to serve mine with freshly washed spinach leaves, chopped vine/ cherry tomatoes and a balsamic dressing)!
